Wasteminz: Waste Management Institute NZ Inc
A non-profit organisation, founded in 1989, with the aim of providing a national body to promote & develop the science, art and practice of the sound management of waste and to serve as a forum for the exchange of knowledge of waste management both locally and international. Over 300 members are provided with newsletters & reports & information plus a library and regular workshops & seminars. An annual conference which provides opportunities for learning, sharing information & networking.

Zero Waste NZ Trust
What is Zero Waste? A breakthrough strategy that aims to redesign the way that resources and materials flow through our communities. The ultimate goal of Zero Waste is to create a closed loop materials economy where products are made to be reused, repaired and recycled; an economy that minimises the ultimately eliminates waste.
Zero Waste N Z Trust was established in 1997 to promote the Zero Waste concept and develop the strategies needed to deal with New Zealand's growing waste problem

The Recycling Operators of NZ Inc. is a non-profit networking organisation representing recycling operators, companies and organisations involved in the recycling & recovered materials industry in N.Z. RONZ focuses on raising the profile of recycling in NZ through various initiatives involving central government, local authorities, industry and the community-sector.

Aggregate & Quarry Assn of NZ
Companies involved in extracting & supplying gravel & allied materials formed the AQA in 1969 in response to a need for an industry group that could represent aggregate suppliers on a range of issues as well as liase with specifiers and end users of the material. Training, education, rehabilitation of quarries & associated environmental issues are key concerns.
